In the following Terms and Conditions of the boarding and associated Services at Stable View Cattery Limited. Please refer to the following definitions applied throughout the Terms and Conditions:

 

Definitions

 

They/Their/We: refers to Stable View Cattery Limited (the service provider).

 

Stable View Cattery Limited: refers to the service provider, A boarding facility where animals are housed temporarily, when they cannot stay at their owners' home.

 

The Owner/Carer:   refers to person(s) who has ownership, and shall include a person who has the animal in possession, or who is assigned, by the owner or from a person who is assigned from the owner, to take care of the animal.

 

You/Your/You’re: refers to the The Owner/Carer refers to person(s) who has ownership, and shall include a person who has the animal in possession, or who is assigned, by the owner or from a person who is assigned from the owner, to take care of the animal.

 

The Nominated Emergency Contact: refers to a person(s) the Owner/Carer wants the Service provider (Stable View Cattery Limited) to contact in the event of an emergency to inform the person about the nature of the emergency.

 

The Designated Veterinary Surgeon: Refers to the Owner/Carer’s designated Veterinary Surgeon and/or Practise/Clinic/Hospital.

 

The Stable View Cattery Limited’s Appointed Veterinary Practises: Refers to veterinary practises, both in hours and out of hours that been pre-appointed should a situation arise where Stable View Cattery Limited is unable to contact, visit, make a booking or any other issues relating to utilising their services of The Designated Veterinary Surgeon and/or The Owner/Carer has not provided a The Designated Veterinary Surgeon at the time of the booking.

 

 1. General

 

  • 1. All animals are boarded at The Owner/Carer’s risk, and they therefore take full liability. The cattery will take due care and diligence to ensure that the animal’s security and wellbeing is catered for at all times.

 

  • 2. Whilst every possible attention is given to each animal boarded with us, we cannot be held responsible for any injury caused from one animal to another within the same family. By making a booking with Stable View Cattery Limited, you are providing consent these T&C’s and that The Owner/Carer providers their consent for their animals to share boarding facilities. Should Stable View Cattery Limited feel the need to separate them in the interest of the animal’s own safety, the relevant fee for the extra accommodation will be charged.

 

  • 3. All cats should be registered with a veterinary practice and the contact details should be provided to the cattery.

 

  • 4. All Animals must be transported in a secure and suitable pet travel carrier.

 

  • 5. Stable View Cattery Limited reserve the right to refuse out of hour drop offs and collections

2       Sharing Boarding Facilities

 

2.1 Animals from same family can only share the same boarding facility, and The Owner/Carer must provide written permission.

 

2.2 Whilst every possible attention is given to each animal boarded with us, when family animals share boarding, we cannot be held responsible for any injury caused from one animal to another within the same family. By making a booking with Stable View Cattery Limited, you are providing consent these T&C’s and that The Owner/Carer providers their consent for their animal(s) to share boarding facilities. Should Stable View Cattery Limited feel the need to separate them in the interest of the animal’s own safety, the relevant fee for the extra accommodation will be charged.

 

 

3. Vaccination details

 

3.1. All pets boarded must be fully vaccinated, and the current vaccination certificate must accompany each pet during their stay.

 

3.2. The vaccination certificate must remain in the possession of Stable View Cattery Limited throughout the period of boarding.

 

3.3. Failure to provide a valid vaccination certificate for each pet will prevent them from boarding.

 

3.4. This must show a booster vaccination having taken place within the last 12 months and signed off by a qualified Veterinary Surgeon. 

 

3.5 The certificate must show the booster having been administered as part of a course of vaccinations.

 

3.6. Cat Vaccinations must safeguard against Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis; however, we do not insist upon the vaccination for Feline Leukaemia.

 

3.7. All Animals must be covered by a known flea treatment, such as ‘Frontline’, ‘Stronghold’ or ‘Advantage’ before they are boarded. These products have varying lengths of effectiveness. Animals that arrive with fleas will be administered such a product and charged accordingly.

 

3.8 All animals that arrive with fleas will be administered such a product and Stable View Limited is not liable for any reaction or illness as a result of this administration. Stable View Limited strongly advise that The Owner/Carer administer a flea treatment to their animals prior to their visit to Stable View Limited.

 

3.8. An effective Wormer, such as ‘Drontal’ or ‘Panacure’ must have been administered to any Cat prior to boarding. This should be taken at least a week before coming into STABLE VIEW CATTERY LIMITED . Please check with your Veterinary Surgery on how long each product will protect your Pet.

 

 

 

4. Medical Record

 

4.1. If an animal has a medical condition(s) of any sort, Stable View Limited must be notified at the time of booking.

 

4.1.1 If an animal identifies a medical condition(s) of any sort after a booking has been made with Stable View Limited. The Owner/Carer is responsible to notify Stable View Cattery Limited at the earliest convenience, no later than 48 hours prior to arriving for their visit.

 

4.2. If Stable View Limited have not been notified of such a condition(s) or course of medication, Stable View Cattery Limited reserve the right to refuse admission.

 

4.3       Medicine will only be administered as per instruction from a qualified vet.

 

4.4       The animal(s) The Owner/Carer must provide a written consent to Stable View Cattery Limited to administer medication, this must detail Instruction on how to administer medication by The Owner/Carer or vet.

 

4.5 If deemed necessary the animal(s) The Owner/Carer must provide Training on how to administer medication by The Owner/Carer or vet.

 

4.6 Medication will only be used for the animal(s) for which it is prescribed and following a veterinary surgeon’s instructions.

 

4.7 Medications will be clearly labelled and stored safely at the correct temperature

 

4.8 All unused medicines will be returned to The Owner/Carer’s on departure

 

4.9 Where animal(s) require wiping of eyes, grooming or other cleaning regimes, these will be carried out frequently enough to keep the animal(s) clean and comfortable providing it is safe to do so.

 

4.10 Stable View Cattery Limited reserves the right to contact The Owner/Carer’s veterinary surgeon to discuss any past or current medical problems in the event of illness or injury.

 

4.11 Stable View Cattery Limited will administer medication to manageable cats. However, should there be a risk of harm to cattery staff or to the cat itself, veterinary care may be needed. Except as otherwise set out in these terms and conditions, any veterinary fees incurred will be charged to The Owner/Carer’s of the cat.

 

4.12 Stable View Cattery Limited reserve the right to refuse to board any cat that is clearly unwell, or that we consider could be dangerous to our staff.

 

5. Emergencies/Illnesses

 

5.1 Whilst every care and precaution is taken with every cat boarded at Stable View Cattery Limited the proprietor cannot be held responsible for any illness, disease or death that may occur during boarding.

5.2 If an animal(s) requires veterinary treatment during their stay Stable View Cattery Limited will attempt to contact The Owner/Carer and/or their emergency contact (The Nominated Emergency Contact) before making an appointment with the Owner/Carer’s Designated Veterinary Surgeon (The Designated Veterinary Surgeon).

5.3 It is The Owner/Carer’s responsibility to ensure that somebody who can advocate for their animal(s) is able to respond to Stable View Cattery Limited immediately in case of an emergency (The Nominated Emergency Contact).

5.4 If Stable View Cattery Limited cannot contact The Owner/Carer and we believe that the animal(s) needs medical attention urgently, we will make an appointment with the either your Designated Veterinary Surgeon (The Designated Veterinary Surgeon) (as per clause 5.5) or Stable View Cattery Limited’s Appointed Veterinary Practises (as per clause 5.5.1 ) and refer all decisions to him/her.

5.5 In the unlikely event your cat becomes unwell during their stay they will be treated by either The Designated veterinary surgeon or Stable View Cattery Limited’s Appointed Veterinary Practises in relation to the situation addressed in Clauses 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and 5.4.

5.5.1 In the unlikely event Stable View Cattery Limited is unable to gain access to your Designated Veterinary Surgeon (The Designated Veterinary Surgeon), Stable View Cattery Limited will utilise the services of their appointed veterinary practises (Stable View Cattery Limited’s Appointed Veterinary Practises).

5.6 This cost and all associated costs is to be covered by The Owner/Carer and/or The Nominated Emergency Contact at time of collection.

 

5.7 The Owner/Carer accepts that a veterinary surgeon will be called if Stable View Cattery Limited think it is necessary & any resulting fees not be covered by insurance, but will be payable by The Owner/Carer at time of collection.

 

5.8 During the period of boarding, Stable View Cattery Limited will exercise every possible care and attention to the welfare and safety of the pet, however Stable View Cattery Limited accepts no responsibility for problems outside of their control.

 

6. Emergency Protocol


6.1. In a case of emergency, the person(s) you have nominated (The Nominated Emergency Contact – see definitions) will be contacted via telephone, text and email, please refer to Clause 5.3 which applies to The Owner/Carer’s.

 

6.2. The Designated Veterinary Surgeon will be contacted and engaged if required, please refer to Clauses in Section 5 Emergencies/Illness.

 

6.3. The Owner/Carer will also be notified by telephone, text and email.

 

7. Aggressive / Destructive Temperaments


7.1. We do accept animals with aggressive or destructive temperaments at the discretion of Stable View Cattery Limited.

 

7.2. In cases where animals are left that prove to be aggressive towards other animals or staff, or destructive to our facilities, we may contact The Owner/Carer to arrange their removal.

 

7.3. All damage caused by an animal to any area will be chargeable to the Animal(s) The Owner/Carer or The Nominated Emergency Contact.

 

 

 

8. Minimum Age

 

8.1. STABLE VIEW CATTERY LIMITED operates a minimum age policy of 4 months.

 

8.2. Male cats over the age of six months are only accepted if they have been neutered.

 

9. Diet

 

9.1 We strongly recommend your animal(s) be kept on the same diet.

 

9.2 Each animal will be fed according to The Owner/Carer’s’s preference and the animal’s own dietary needs. Stable View Cattery Limited provide wet and dry animal food unless the animal is on a special diet specified by their vet or The Owner/Carer. We will work with The Owner/Carer’s to ensure their animal’s dietary requirements and eating habits are met.

 

9.3 All food is stored and prepared correctly, as a minimum all animals will be fed 2 meals per day, 8 hours apart.

 

9.4 If Stable View Cattery Limited do does not stock the food you feed, it is The Owner/Carer’s responsibility to supply enough food for the duration of your Animal(s) stay.

 

9.5 If The Owner/Carer don’t supply the food your pet normally eats Stable View Cattery Limited are not held liable for any conditions resulting from change of diet.

 

9.6 Stable View Cattery Limited will use all reasonable endeavours to feed as instructed by The Owner/Carer’s. However alternative diets/brands may be fed if the animal is not eating its usual diet.

 

10. Bedding & Toys


10.1. We supply plastic hygienic beds, soft bedding or platform bed for animals

 

10.2. We request that The Owner/Carer provide any soft bedding that you wish your animal(s) to have during his / her stay.

 

10.3. Stable View Cattery Limited take no responsibility for loss or damage to any supplied bedding, leads, toys or any other items accompanying The Owner/Carer’s visit.

 

11, Lost Property

 

11.1 Whilst every care will be taken by Stable View Cattery Limited all belongings are left at The Owner/Carer’s after 7 days following boarding will be disposed of.

  1. Boarding Fees

 

12.1 The Owner/Carer is charged for each day

 

12.2 All outstanding fees must be paid in full on or before the time of collection.


12.3 Should the stay be extended by The Owner/Carer for any reason, extra days will be charged at the daily rate.

 

12.4 If the stay is curtailed, the full price may remain payable, but Stable View Cattery Limited, (at their discretion), may offer a refund for unused days, except during busy periods where it is not possible to re-allocate the accommodation.

 

13. No Show


13.1 A No-Show is the term used for a booking where The Owner/Carer have failed to present your animal(s) for boarding within 24 hours of the first day of your booking.

 

13.2 In this instance The Owner/Carer automatically is obliged to understand Stable View Cattery Limited can cancel the booking at their discretion.

 

13.2.1  As a result The Owner/Carer further agrees to be liable in full for all boarding fees and agree to pay on receipt of a Stable View Cattery Limited invoice.

 

14. Late Cancellation Charge

 

14.1. Stable View Cattery Limited reserve the right to charge for the whole period originally booked in the event of late cancellation, non-attendance/arrival, or late adjustment to the original period booked.

 

14,2 Cancellation of/and amendments to the full boarding period within 7 working days of its commencement will require payment of the full boarding fees which Stable View Cattery Limited will issue an invoice for The Owner/Carer to pay the total amount in full.

 

 

15. Non-Collection

 

15.1. In the event that the Owner/Carer’s animal(s) have not been collected on the agreed date of the booking (original or amended), we will attempt to contact The Owner/Carer or The Nominated Emergency Contact. If Stable View Cattery Limited receives no contact within seven days and/or alternative collection date is not agreed in writing Stable View Cattery Limited reserve the right to have your animal(s) removed to a re-homing centre. Stable View Cattery Limited also reserve the right to take legal action to recover any cost incurred in boarding, feeding, treating, transporting, re-homing and any other associated costs incurred.

 

16. Payment

 

16.1 The Owner/Carer must provide a payment of their duration of stay on the day of arrival, should the Owner/Carer extend or incur any additional costs to the original booking, all outstanding fees must be paid in full on or before the time of collection of the animal(s) by cash or bank transfer.

 

16.2 For all bookings incurring a cost of £100.00 and over, Stable View Cattery Limited requires a 25% non-refundable deposit from the Owner/Carer paid on either the day of arrival or prior to the arrival. For No-Shows, please refer to Section 13.

 

16.3 All bank transfer payments must be completed on the day of arrival or prior.

 

16.4 All cash payments must be on the day of arrival or prior

 

16.5 The Owner/Carer must ensure all Bank Transfer payments include their surname and Animal’s name as the payment reference.

 

17. Privacy Policy

 

17.1 The Owner/Carer is also agreeing to our ‘Privacy Policy’ which can be found on our web site when accepting these Terms and Conditions

 

17.2 It is The Owner/Carer’s responsibility to familiarise themselves with this Privacy Policy

 

17.3  Stable View Cattery Limited reserve the right to update the terms and conditions as needed

 

  1. Declaration

 

18.1 IT IS THE OWNER/CARER’S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THEY ARE FAMILARISED THEMSELVES WITH STABLE VIEW CATTERY LIMITIED’S TERMS AND CONDITION AND ASSOCIATED SCHEDULES AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT WHEN MAKING A BOOKING WITH STABLE VIEW CATTERY LIMITED BY ANY COMMUNICATION CHANNEL YOU ARE ACCEPTING OUR TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

 

 

18.2 We reserve the right to vary these Terms and Conditions periodically on our website.
